The Bridge League of Finland (BLF) condemns the Russian and Belarusian invasion of Ukraine and shows its support and solidarity to the Ukrainian people.
We (BLF) will not accept any Russian or Belarusian players in our own tournaments. This decision is valid until further notice. We are aware that the individual citizens of Russia and Belarus are not responsible for the actions or decisions made by their heads of state, and we thus express our apologies to our bridge friends. We extend our sanctions to each citizen of these two countries, as recommended by the International Olympic Committee.
